Fixed: Overwatch Push to Talk Not Working

How to Fix overwatch push to talk not working

Fix 1: update your audio driver

The Push-to-Talk function may not work with Overwatch because the audio drivers are damaged, outdated or missing. Therefore, we recommend that you update your drivers to solve the problem. There are three ways to do this:

Update your audio drivers through Device Manager
Download and install your audio drivers manually
Use Auslogics Driver Updater to repair your audio drivers

Update your audio drivers through Device Manager

Go to your taskbar and right click on the Windows icon.
Select Device Manager from the list.
When Device Manager is active, click on the Audio Inputs and Outputs category to expand the content.
Now right click on your microphone and select Update Driver from the context menu.
In the next window, select the option "Automatically check the updated driver software".
Follow steps 4 and 5 for your speakers.
Expand the content of the Audio, video and game controllers category.
Repeat steps 4 and 5 for your audio device.

Download and install your audio drivers manually

While Device Manager makes it easy to update drivers, the latest versions of this tool may still be missing. Therefore, you may have to go to the manufacturer's website to obtain the correct drivers for your operating system and processor. However, care must be taken as the installation of an incompatible driver can cause system instability problems.

Fix 2: Check your settings in the game

The problem may also be caused by incorrect audio settings. You may not know how to enable Push to Talk in Overwatch on Windows 10. In this case, we recommend that you verify your settings in the game by following the instructions below:

      Start Overwatch
Once Overwatch is active, click on Options.
Now go to the Sound tab and verify that Team Voice Chat and Group Voice Chat are set to Auto Join.
Also, don't forget to make sure the voice chat mode is set to press to speak.
The next step is to choose the right voice chat devices.
Go to the Controls tab and click on the button next to Voice Chat: Push to Talk. You can find this in the Chat and language section. This changes the push to talk button.
Restart Overwatch and check if the problem persists.

Jess McDonell's Most Anticipated Game of 2019: The Outer Worlds

Obsidian Entertainment gaming has proven time and again that they create great single-player RPGs. Her next project is The Outer Worlds, created by Tim Cain and Leonard Boyarsky, known for their work on Fallout 1 and Fallout 2. The first-person-action RPG will appear on PC, PS4 and Xbox One and is set in a future in which mega-corporations will colonize and terraform new planets. It starts with the player leaving the cryosleep on a colony ship, only to find that the other inhabitants have not yet awakened. The outer worlds include the management of NPC factions, as well as a story that changes direction according to the player's choice. Right now it looks and sounds like a mish-mash of Fallout, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and Mass Effect, and I'm very much on board. There seems to be a lot of focus on vivid characters and environments, with a great sense of humor. It's wonderful to see a hardcore RPG that does not take you too seriously and I hope that sense of ...

Jordan Ramee's Most Anticipated Game Of 2019: Digimon Survive

My introduction to anime was the Digimon adventure of 1999. The story of the franchise about people and digital monsters that work together and become stronger has always had a soft spot in my heart. Back then, one of my favorite aspects of the show was that the stories ripen with the following seasons, so the anime can appeal to its adult audience on an ongoing basis. This pattern finally peaked with Digimon Data Squad, where most characters are 18 or older, before the series focused on a new generation of children that includes more child-centered material in Fusion and App Monsters. However, this trend has not translated into the Digimon games, which are aimed primarily at the younger audience of the franchise. Digimon Survive could finally break this trend, and that got me so excited. One of the few advantages the Digimon anime has over the Pokemon is its willingness to accept more adult material and age its characters; It is frustrating to see that this element is not usually pre...
