Fixed: Overwatch Push to Talk Not Working

How to Fix overwatch push to talk not working

Fix 1: update your audio driver

The Push-to-Talk function may not work with Overwatch because the audio drivers are damaged, outdated or missing. Therefore, we recommend that you update your drivers to solve the problem. There are three ways to do this:

Update your audio drivers through Device Manager
Download and install your audio drivers manually
Use Auslogics Driver Updater to repair your audio drivers

Update your audio drivers through Device Manager

Go to your taskbar and right click on the Windows icon.
Select Device Manager from the list.
When Device Manager is active, click on the Audio Inputs and Outputs category to expand the content.
Now right click on your microphone and select Update Driver from the context menu.
In the next window, select the option "Automatically check the updated driver software".
Follow steps 4 and 5 for your speakers.
Expand the content of the Audio, video and game controllers category.
Repeat steps 4 and 5 for your audio device.

Download and install your audio drivers manually

While Device Manager makes it easy to update drivers, the latest versions of this tool may still be missing. Therefore, you may have to go to the manufacturer's website to obtain the correct drivers for your operating system and processor. However, care must be taken as the installation of an incompatible driver can cause system instability problems.

Fix 2: Check your settings in the game

The problem may also be caused by incorrect audio settings. You may not know how to enable Push to Talk in Overwatch on Windows 10. In this case, we recommend that you verify your settings in the game by following the instructions below:

      Start Overwatch
Once Overwatch is active, click on Options.
Now go to the Sound tab and verify that Team Voice Chat and Group Voice Chat are set to Auto Join.
Also, don't forget to make sure the voice chat mode is set to press to speak.
The next step is to choose the right voice chat devices.
Go to the Controls tab and click on the button next to Voice Chat: Push to Talk. You can find this in the Chat and language section. This changes the push to talk button.
Restart Overwatch and check if the problem persists.

It was wrapped in plastic and even contained the original manual and Razer stickers. If I didn't know better, I would think this is a new keyboard. Not a single defect. When I registered it on the Razer website with the serial number and product number, it showed that I had a 2-year warranty. Previously I had a Redragon K551 Wand. This keyboard had blue keys, which I thought were very strong. This Razer feels much better and is not as loud as the last keyboard. The lighting is nice and bright and is synchronized with my other Razer products and my Thermaltake products through Razer Synapse 3. When I play certain games like Call of Duty Black Ops 4, the lighting changes according to my character and when I die it is great. You could also set effects in Synapse 3 so that WASD remains red while the rest
